Wear & Sliding Components

Plasticpartsmfg manufactures custom plastic wear parts and sliding components to your drawings — bushings, wear rings, wear strips, wear pads, slide guides, guide rails, guide blocks and thrust washers. We help machinery, conveyor, automation, pump and valve, food-processing and OEM teams reduce friction and wear with the right engineering plastic, the right fit, and repeatable production.

Plastic wear parts and sliding components, made to your drawings

Wear and sliding parts are rarely catalog items. Bore diameter, wall thickness, groove position, clearance, surface finish and material grade all affect friction, wear rate and service life. Plasticpartsmfg manufactures each component against your dimensional and performance requirements instead of forcing a standard part into your assembly.

We work with common and engineering plastics selected for low friction, abrasion resistance, dimensional stability and moisture or chemical exposure — including POM, PA (Nylon), UHMW-PE, HDPE, PTFE-filled grades, PEEK, PPS, PET, PC and PBT. Where a metal backing, insert, groove, chamfer, counterbore or assembly is required, we machine and finish it in the same production run.

Material selection support

We compare wear rate, friction coefficient, PV limits, temperature range and moisture absorption against your actual load, speed and environment — and recommend alternatives when a material is not suited to the duty.

Machining accuracy and fit

CNC turning and milling for bores, outside diameters, thickness, slots and shoulders, with tolerances reviewed against your shaft fit, clearance and assembly requirements.

Prototype to repeat production

One supplier from first article and fit testing through low-volume bridge quantities to ongoing repeat orders, keeping dimensions and material batches consistent.

Multiple processes

CNC machining, injection molding, vacuum casting, thermoforming and laser cutting are available in-house so the process can change with quantity without changing supplier.

Secondary operations

Polishing, deburring, chamfering, engraving, bonding, insert fitting, assembly and custom packaging available on request.

Inspection and documentation

Dimensional inspection against your drawing, material certificates where required, and shipment from Shenzhen, China to your production or assembly location.

Browse wear and sliding component guides

Each guide covers material options, design and fit considerations, typical applications and how to send a part for quotation. Select the component closest to your requirement, or send your drawing directly for engineering review.

How to get an accurate quotation

Wear parts are quoted on geometry plus operating conditions. The more you can share up front, the faster we can confirm material, process and price.

  1. 1 Send your STEP, STP, IGES, X_T, DXF, DWG or PDF drawing, or a physical sample for reverse engineering.
  2. 2 Confirm quantity, material preference (or ask for a recommendation), tolerances and surface finish.
  3. 3 Describe load, sliding speed, temperature, humidity, chemicals and expected service life.
  4. 4 Receive a quotation covering unit price, lead time, tooling (if any) and shipping from Shenzhen, China.

Send your BOM and drawings

Multiple part numbers, repeat orders and contract manufacturing quantities are welcome. Plasticpartsmfg supports prototype, low-volume and ongoing production programs for OEM and equipment manufacturers worldwide.

Request a quotation

Upload your CAD files, drawings or part requirements and tell us about the load, speed, temperature and fit. Our team will respond with material recommendations, process options and pricing for your custom plastic wear parts and sliding components.
