Early Engineering Review

Design for Manufacturing (DFM) Support

Polypropylene exhibits a relatively high volumetric shrinkage rate (1.5% to 2.5%). Our engineers provide proactive DFM feedback on every file to preempt sink marks, differential warpage, and structural weaknesses prior to steel cutting.

Uniform wall thickness between 1.2 mm and 3.5 mm is standard for PP components. We highlight sudden transitions and recommend coring out heavy bosses or thick structural sections to eliminate internal voids and aesthetic sink marks.
